We are looking for a Financial Specialist to ensure compliance with IFRS, local legislation and Sandvik processes and regulations in the finance area.

As a Financial Specialist you will perform a variety of financial activities, including the preparation of Statutory accounts, financial statements, accounting, financial analysis, audit, tax, credit and collections.

The Position plays also an advising role on financial matters and the impact of laws and regulations on the organization.

Your responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include the below:

  • Performing a variety of financial activities, including accounting,
    financial analysis, audit, tax, credit and collections

  • Advising management on financial matters and the impact of laws and regulations on the organization.

  • Ensuring all tax returns, declarations, and other required reports are submitted accurately and on time.

  • Selecting and managing relationships with consultants
    and advisors to ensure the satisfactory standards of service.

  • Analyzing and preparing statutory accounts, financial statements and reports Pre-forms, general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and capital expenditure schedules.

  • Preparing, recording, analyzing and reporting accounting
    transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted
    accounting policies and principles.

  • Preparing and conducting transfer pricing matters according to
    local legislation and company regulations

  • Compliance House follow up

  • Internal control follow up

Your profile

The role reports to the Territory Business Controller Italy Balkans and MED and is based in Belgrade, Serbia.

To be successful in this role, you will be service minded, possess strong communication skills and have the ability to work independently as well as in a team.

English will be a natural working language and other local languages would be an asset.
