We are now recruiting for a Project Accountant (P3) - for a permanent role in our Dublin Office. JOB PURPOSE The Project Accountant is to support successful program management through taking responsibility for all cost management, cost accounting and value realisation strands of work on the Program. The role requires collaboration within the Program and also with key internal Sandvik and external (3rd party) stakeholders, ensuring compliance to contracts and reporting standards, also providing key financial information and KPI reporting, whilst supporting accurate benefit analysis, amongst other relevant duties. The role has responsibility to investigate billing issues and overruns, as well as forecast future costs to ensure the Program is completed within budget. You will also be expected to manage cost allocation principles in conjunction with relevant Sandvik Finance teams. Furthermore, the role will manage the process to identify financial benefits and establish structures to track actual realization. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES This Project Accountant role has responsibility for the following functional areas Generate reports including key performance indicators (KPIs), resource utilisation, actual vs forecast (cost), actual vs forecast (days), amongst others Interpret these reports to identify key trends and issue written findings to Program leaders Establish strong financial control measures to manage the overall Program spend Identify opportunities for cost optimisation or cost reduction to avoid overspend Process vendor invoices accurately and within assigned timeline Collect and track compliance or other contractual documents Establish and manage cost allocation and amortisation principles in conjunction with Business Area financial control team Ensure costs are correctly classified as Capital or Operating expenditure in line with Sandvik financial reporting standards Work closely with business stakeholders to confirm value drivers for business transformation through SAP S/4HANA Collaborate with other Program stakeholders to align benefits with End to End (E2E) processes, including defining clear value measures Build financial model to track overall financial benefits and to support continuous follow up process Ensure accountability for value realisation in conjunction with E2E process owners Other related duties as assigned or needed.
