Tampere Site is the heart of Drilling within Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions business area, and the main competence and manufacturing center for three Divisions: Surface Drilling, Underground Drilling, and Digital Mining Technologies. Site Business Control team is now looking for an analytical and proactive Financial Analyst. The position is full time, permanent and located at Tampere, Finland where Sandvik has a global technology and manufacturing center for mining equipment.

Your role

As a Financial Analyst, you will assist in monthly closing and reporting. You prepare and process financial data for monthly reporting and together with the team you participate in finance system related development projects. You will also be responsible for master data management and control.

About you and what we find important

You can be newly graduated, preferably with a degree in Accounting or Business Management or have already some years’ experience. However the willingness to learn and develop as well as proactive and collaborative attitude are the key elements to succeed in this position.

You work effectively in a team and have a passion to develop yourself and processes. You are a service-minded team player with flexible and can-do attitude. Good communication (fluent in Finnish and English) and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to prioritize and keep deadlines are also essential. Understanding of ERP systems (Lean system, MS Dynamics 365) as well as advanced Excel and Power BI skills are an advantage in this role.
