About the job
In this position, you serve as a liaison between IT and business teams and find ways to increase business value by introducing efficient solutions to enable the organization to perform qualitative analysis, as well as to support the process of making informed and fact-based decisions. You set the roadmap and develop the strategy for the area of business reporting, intelligence, and analytics – to make sure we are offering reliable and accessible information and data driven insight in the most optimal and timely manner to the organization. You’re the bridge between the technology, reporting and analytics team and the organization by supporting and coordinating all requirements within the area, regardless of organizational function or system platform​. You take an active role in continuous improvements of our processes and ways of working to increase the support to the organization and the business value of our insight.

This position offers great development opportunities where you set the agenda and suggest the direction. Your work and contribution in this area will have an immediate impact on the journey of becoming a data centric organization. You will be invited to provide data-driven recommendation to different stakeholder through the organization and support the execution of our strategy.

Your responsibility also includes:

  • Coordinating, leading, and developing a global team of reporting specialists.
  • Coordinating and supporting deep-dive investigations and analysis
  • Proactively identifying opportunities and challenges within the organization
  • Monitoring and benchmarking of report usage and report lifecycle management
  • Looking out for new opportunities, data industry trends and technological advancements.

The location of this job is flexible between any of our global offices or sites, and international travel is under normal circumstances included and a natural part of your job.

About you
We’re looking for an experienced leader with the ability to inspire and engage in a global setting. You have a degree in a relevant field of studies, such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, IT or Economics. Extensive experience from data analysis, reporting and BI is required, as well as developing analytics in a global setting. You’re an advanced user of business intelligence tools such as Power BI etc. and have a good general knowledge of relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server, and it’s beneficial if you also have knowledge in services like DataBricks. You have experience from agile ways of working and in advising on strategic business decisions, acting as a true partner to the organization. As we act in a global setting, fluency in verbal and written English is a requirement.

You’re analytical and result driven, always aiming to deliver the best possible solutions and exceed customer expectation.
