SMS Logistics ensures that any product, ordered anywhere in the world, arrives at our customers in time, in perfect condition, with the lowest possible impact on the environment and in compliance with all international laws and regulations – at the lowest possible cost for Sandvik Manufacturing and Machining Solutions (SMM).

In Santrade Ltd. Switzerland, we perform financial and controlling activities for the total SMS Logistics organization. We are now looking for a qualified Transfer Pricing Controller for the SMS operation, located in Lucerne, Switzerland.

Your mission


As a Transfer Pricing Controller for Sandvik Machining Solutions, your main goal is to ensure that our entities around the world have the correct tax base from a transfer price perspective. You are responsible for operational transfer pricing calculations with SMS. To be successful in this role, you continuously follow up and control our profitability levels and you are also responsible for the defined transfer pricing tools and support system development projects. You execute investigations and analyses to ensure compliance with Group Tax policy. You are responsible for evaluating transactions with operational transfer pricing implications. Additionally, you are responsible for monthly reconciliations and closing of transfer pricing related accounts, as well as for calculating service fees and royalty invoices for the business, and for ensuring there is an audit trail.

You cooperate and collaborate with Sandvik Group Tax, which sets transfer pricing guidelines and procedures for all Sandvik intragroup transactions and you ensure a consistent and smooth flow of information with Group tax.

In this position, you report directly to the Transfer Pricing, Customs Pricing and VAT Manager.

Your profile


We are looking for a qualified controller with a university degree or equivalent with at least five years of relevant business experience in a global environment. Another benefit for this position is that you are familiar with consolidation and analytics systems (for example SAP BPC) and is interested to work with big data.

Experience working in the transfer pricing field is an advantage but not mandatory. You will not be working with setting the transfer pricing strategy in terms of policy, documentation, or audits.
