Division Stationary Crushing & Screening within the new business area Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions is an industrial frontrunner in crushing and screening equipment for mining and construction. About the job
As Global Sales Controller, you’re part of our divisional Business Control team within Stationary Crushing & Screening. However, you also support the Crushing & Screening Sales Development organization and work towards the frontline - consisting of nine sales areas - in our common Global Sales organization. While your main focus is on division Stationary Crushing & Screening, you bring your knowledge and expertise across the full scope of our business area and its four divisions.

You’re responsible for following our sales development, and for cost control, profitability analysis and contingency planning for our sales area organization. You manage both monthly and annual forecasts and follow-up cycles for sales prepare and schedule reviews. By coaching, developing and educating the Sales Area Control team, you make sure that we find improvements and drive best practices, and then successful implement these across our sales area and backline. You’re a key player in creating business cases and long-term plans, setting and communicating incentives, KPIs and progress, as well as analyzing the market to understand opportunities, risks, competition, market share and our own numbers connected to this. Another item on your agenda is coordinating and securing quality of data in the daily tools we use. On top of this, we give you the chance to drive some global projects of your own.

The location for this position is at our division headquarters in Svedala – a short commute from cities like Malmö, Lund and Ystad, and with our site located just across from the train station. Global travel is normally included to meet with your sales controller colleagues and stakeholders in our sales areas.

About you
We’re looking for a driven and forward-thinking collaborator with experience from working in similar global B2B roles - preferably connected to the manufacturing industry. A background formed within mining and construction is a plus, and you need a broad knowledge of how to analyze, interpret and create opportunities from numbers, market data and trends. A relevant degree – such as Business, Finance or Engineering – is necessary and you’re a skilled user of Power BI. Since we’re a global organization, you must also communicate fluently in English.

Your analytical mind and organized approach are keys in this job, and you have a project manager’s attitude as you coordinate large amounts of information and take lead on various ongoing tasks. Your curiosity and personal grit shines through as you question the status quo, try new ideas and push for development initiatives. Being a good communicator and true team player, you’re always looking to establish broad networks and great relations, and you keep an open mind towards the people you meet. All in all, you’re a systematic people person who enjoys a bit of time in the spotlight and has a passion for learning new things!
