Sandvik Coromant, and our finance organization within Supply, is responsible for the development and operation of financial and performance management processes – meaning that we drive performance from a financial perspective through analysis, support and active engagement in production management teams. We’re now looking for a driven and tech savvy Business Controller to join us in a challenging and visionary position, with responsibility for creating cohesiveness in our global process development. In this position, you proactively participate in the development of both business control and performance management within the global organization of Sandvik Coromant Supply - aiming at common processes to enable fast, automatic and to-the-point business performance analysis. You support with analysis expertise in strategy development and execution, and you’re responsible for driving development projects within all our financial processes such as actual results, forecasts, long-term outlooks and target setting, investments and product cost setting. You ensure completeness, correctness and timeliness in financial processes, and you support compliance with financial rules and regulations in close collaboration with all our product units. An important key in this is spotting trends and sharing best practices, creating guidelines and trainings and developing key users within each process. You’re also an active member of various finance and projects teams.
The location for this position is flexible, with a preference for Sandviken or another one of our global production sites, and international travel is normally a natural part of the job.
Your background and character
We’re looking for someone with solid experience from business controlling - preferably within a production environment – and you combine this with a relevant academic degree. You’re passionate about understanding and developing financial transactions and processes, and the possibilities that comes with new systems, programs and techniques excites you. Experience from taking lead and driving change management are clear advantages in this position, as is previous knowledge of SAP. We’re represented worldwide, and this means that you need to be fluent in both written and verbal English.
Your personal qualities truly matter to us. You’re characterized by positive energy and a great ability to get things done, even in shifting environments. You’re also confident, yet humble when trying new software and techniques, and you easily implement change in the organization by utilizing your social skills and clear, inspiring communication.
