Key Performance Areas

  • Work with select Customers and distributors to understand and communicate the customer’s tooling requirements into the Dormer Pramet Product Management organization to prepare for the future
  • Support sales growth by managing large projects >50K; from start to finish
  • Meeting deadlines and commitments
  • Work with sales to ensure projects and activities are documented
  • Identify market trends and competitor activities
  • Attend industry trade shows and conferences as needed
  • Conduct trainings for distribution and customer personnel as needed
  • Operate and maintain leased vehicle in accordance with published company policies and instructions
  • May perform other functions that may be assigned in support of the company strategy
  • Meet established goals and drive initiatives outlined in the Sales & Marketing Plan
  • Assemble tools for shipment to customers
  • Comply with safety standards and procedures in customer and customer facilities including but not limited to wearing of protective clothing
  • Strong collaboration with the US sales force and Managers
  • Ensure that the business with stakeholders is conducted in a way which contributes to a positive Image for the Company, while delivering quality and timely work to meet communicated deadlines and timelines

Candidate Profile

  • A Bachelor of Applied Science degree in a related field or equivalent experience in a similar position within a similar industry
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the metalworking industry
  • Strong knowledge of the metal removal manufacturing processes
  • Proficiency in MS Office; Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills, oral and written, and effective relationship selling skills
  • Highly motivated; Strong organizational skills
  • Strong customer centric & service oriented mindset
  • Employee must read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Employee must be proficient with training and presentation skills to large and small groups
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Must be able to perform mathematical calculations applicable to product applications and sales statistics
  • Employee must possess a current driver’s license valid for his/her state of primary residence
  • Employee may be required to undergo security clearance screening and obtain it for entry into some customer facilities
  • International and domestic travel will be required
