Currently we have an opening for a Product Technical Specialist. The Product Technical Specialist is responsible for providing high quality product technical support for Sandvik internal personnel and external customers, and for developing the technical competencies of both internal and external personnel.

What you will be doing
- Provide pre-sales and/or post-sales technical support to customers including commissioning, installing, testing, and maintaining products, equipment, and systems.
- Provide guidance to internal stakeholders though product training and technical support
- Troubleshoot, investigate, resolve, and develop innovative solutions to more complex technical problems that arise.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend new products or equipment upgrades that will meet customer needs.
- Monitor and resolve recurring more complex problems, collaborating with internal technical team, to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
- Establish and maintain ongoing positive relationships to secure and develop future business.
- Train customers on the features of the equipment they have purchased.

What you will bring along
- Red Seal HD Equipment certification
- 5 years of technical experience
- Proficient with hydraulic and electronic systems
- Excellent customer relations and active listening skills
- Strong investigation and diagnostic skills.
- Inclination to train and transfer knowledge to others
- Ability to work as part of an integrated, broad team
- Flexible, self-motivated and passion to see tasks through to completion
- May require working in Underground Mines.
- Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time
- Highly developed time management and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, French is a plus
