We are seeking a proactive individual who is passionate about service and technical support. This role focus is to provide expert advice for Sandvik’s state-of-the-art control systems for crushers. Additionally, this role is responsible to drive continuous improvement initiatives for products and our Customer’s practices and process.
Many new installations are expected over the incoming months and this role will join the installation and commissioning team to ensure these projects are executed safely, efficiently and meeting all the technical requirements.
This role is a full-time position, however Sandvik recognises the desire for flexible working options. Flexible employment arrangements include condensed working weeks, working from home, flexible start/finish times, etc.
As well as this, you will also:
Provide specialist product support to customers around product application, efficiencies, and productivity with regards to comminution process in the APAC region
Provide expert level support for installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair, and improvement initiatives of Sandvik Crushing & Screening equipment
Provide expert assistance with equipment fault finding
Deliver equipment training packages to customers operation and maintenance teams as well as for employees of Sandvik Crushing & Screening
Participate and support R&D in the development of new products
Mechatronics Engineer or Controls Engineer qualification (or equivalent)
Experience in understanding and using Control Systems
Exceptional customer service skills
Ability to work autonomously and be decisive
Computer literacy with Microsoft suite
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
The right to work in Australia
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical test
Onsite commissioning and fixed plant maintenance experience would be an advantage
Experience with crushers and screens product line would be an advantage
