Application Specialist Digital & Services – Czechia (Prague, Brno another flexible location)

We are now looking for a technical sales and solution orientated Application Specialist Digital & Services to join the Sales team with the location in Czech Republic. In this position you will get the chance to work in an international team and to truly influence our future ways of working as well as you will be having opportunity to support our customers, market leaders in the area of metal cutting industry across the region of three countries: Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary.
Job summary - Your mission – To provide the ultimate customer experience.
In this position, you’ll be expected to deliver technical expertise in the digital area of engineering cutting tools and metal working applications to our customers. You will collaborate with and support Account Managers presenting our offer, either on site or remotely with technical demonstrations and presentations. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring that Sandvik Coromant products are applied correctly to ensure customers gain the maximum benefit of utilizing Sandvik Coromant tools and technology. You will be essential part of sales team and will generate and secure technical savings for our customers and also enable drive and convert technical opportunities to sales together with Account Manager.
Your profile: Innovative with a passion for delivering digital solutions and presenting our digital offer
We are looking for someone with
strong competence in digital knowledge – knowledge of the working principles of manufacturing software (MIS, MRP, ERP) and IT technology
knowledge of LEAN processes
basic/general technical knowledge in metal cutting applications and machining process
solid analytical skills
outstanding communication skills
You must possess the ability to listen to customers and sales project teams to understand underlying needs and ensure suitable digital solutions are mapped and delivered to secure profitable business for Sandvik Coromant. In order to work in the international environment, you must be able to communicate in the English langue with ease. Knowledge of any of the langue spoken in the territory is a must. Project management skills and previous experience is an advantage, along with ability to manage customer relationships. You will have a degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical/manufacturing engineering or a related field.
