AutoMine Technical Specialist

The Role:

Technical Specialist for installation, setting up and implementation of Sandvik AutoMine system at our customer’s sites.

Key Activities and Responsibilities:

  • Technical consulting for customers regarding Sandvik AutoMine system
  • Setting up and installation of AutoMine at customers’ sites
  • Preparation and conducting AutoMine trainings for customer’s employees
  • Testing the system for exploitation
  • Technical support (face-to-face and remote)
  • Taking part in technical meetings on the system’ implementation

Your Profile:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Information Science or other engineering discipline with the relevant IT experience. Advanced degrees in supplementary area a plus (e.g. an MBA)
  • Experience of mining automation
  • History of creative and innovative solutions
  • Coaching, mentoring, or training experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Professional certificates, registrations, and affiliations a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
  • Fluent business English and Russian languages
  • Computer proficiency
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Medically fit to visit surface and underground mines
  • Be prepared to travel globally to customer- and company sites up to 14 days per month
  • Driver’s license
