Your mission

In this position, you work in close collaboration with our nine divisions and fourteen sales areas to create true value and enhance the business further - and you do this by challenging and supporting in finding new paths to industry leadership. You and your team, of approximately five members, have two main objectives. Firstly, you facilitate and drive strategy development through servicing our businesses in their planning. Together with the team and internal stakeholders from around the world you support the annual strategy development cycle as well as manage ad-hoc projects.

Secondly you lead the business area market intelligence team. Here we provide the business with relevant market information, leverage our databases, analyze our competitors and gather industry news and other important insights. To keep a close eye on trends and current events in different markets and help turn information into actionable insights.

This position is based at our Sandvik headquarters - World Trade Center - in Stockholm, and extensive travel is included in your job.

Your character

We’re looking for someone with a university degree within Industrial Engineering and Management, Finance or Business Administration. In addition to your education, you have 7-10 years’ work experience from similar roles within larger organizations such as management consulting or another global company. This includes a solid track record of driving business growth and change management, as well as proven leadership capabilities. Interest in data analysis and fact-based decision making is key, and working in a global setting calls for excellent English skills, while knowledge of Swedish is a plus.

Your strategic mindset combined with your analytical features enables you to easy spot the details we need to move forward. You have good stakeholder management and communication skills and know how to interact with large group of stakeholders of different backgrounds and opinions. To challenge and push your colleagues forward comes naturally to you, and you enjoy seeing them grow and develop. You’re eager to learn; something that really comes in handy as you sometimes, and in short notice, have to be present in a completely new geographical region and quickly need to catch up on their current situation. This combined with your big interest in our business are some of the ingredients to success in this role!
