We are a business area segment within Sandvik Group – with revenues that will reach a run-rate of over 2 billion SEK by the end of 2021 and around 1500 people worldwide incorporating the three divisions of Design & Planning Automation, Additive Manufacturing and Metrology.

Right now, we’re looking for a business minded, confident and resourceful Executive Assistant to President of Sandvik Manufacturing Solutions – someone who truly finds a passion in organizing, coordinating and multitasking right in the center of a global, dynamic and customer-centric environment.

Your mission

As Executive Assistant, you’re the important right-hand for our President. You offer a supportive and structured partnership and make the everyday business life of your executive as smooth and easy as possible by acting as gatekeeper and maintaining an optimized office setup. You take lead in your assignments and keep track on the smallest details - always with the bigger picture in mind - as you make sure that everything is in place and that your executive knows where to go, who to meet, what to do and what needs to be prepared. Naturally, you manage various administrative tasks such as travel arrangements, calendars, documentation, events and expenses. Additionally, you take the lead to organize and coordinate the office administration and procedures at our SMF headquarters at Gasverket in Stockholm in order to ensure efficiency and safety.

Inclusive collaboration and trusting networks are keys in this position, and you keep your eyes and ears to the ground as you assist our management in sensing the organization. In this role, you work closely with members of our assistant community within Sandvik to share knowledge and best practices, and you open-mindedly connect with internal and external stakeholders, customers and partners worldwide. You contribute in finding improvements that leads to smart, modern and digital ways of working when it comes to supporting the Sandvik Manufacturing Solutions Management team.

The location for this position is preferably in Stockholm, Sweden. As we’re a global business, travel is normally required

Your background and profile

We’re looking for an experienced executive assistant, with a service business background and a previous career that include roles like this one. With structured and straightforward ways of working - and not to forget a doer’s mentality - you’re always two steps ahead, spot what needs to be done and then you take lead! You know how to single-handedly prioritize and creatively solve problems on the go, and you challenge us to broaden our horizon. Naturally, you’re a team player with an exceptional gift for networking and communicating with people from different cultures and settings, and you enjoy acting in an ever-changing environment where you facilitate the work life of your executive. Also, you stay calm under pressure and can switch gears at a moment’s notice when the situation calls for it.

You’re used to a global environment - including cultural aspects and different time zones - and as we become more and more digital, you need to be tech-savvy and comfortably embrace digital tools in our Office 365 environment and new technology. You also communicate fluently in English and Swedish.

The business area segment (SMF) currently have revenues of 1 billion SEK. In July 2021 SMF signed two acquisitions (Cambrio and DW Fritz) adding a yearly revenue of nearly 1.3 billion SEK to the business area segment. This will give us an yearly revenue above 2 billion SEK in 2021. Our ambition is to grow the business to 4 billion SEK before 2025 through organic growth in combination with M&A.
