We’re now looking for an ambitious and communicative HR Business Partner for Sales Area South-East Asia (SASEA). The role includes supporting our organization in India, Japan and Sales Cluster SEAO (Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia) as well as hosted HR support to other parts of our business. In this key, strategic position, you engage in enabling our SASEA Sales and Marketing Strategy, working closely together with sales and marketing managers, and leading the HR activities to drive our growth ambition, significantly lift our performance, increase competitiveness in our markets and clearly support our goal to create the “ultimate customer experience” with the right competences for the future.
Your mission – enhancing our performance with an HR perspective on business needs.
You increase organizational performance from an HR perspective in alignment with our business needs – contributing to the development of our strategy and providing HR expertise and support for the achievement of strategic business goals. You develop both our people and our organization by securing the implementation of our people strategy and ensure its compliance with global policies, local legislation and labor agreements. You are responsible for the activities in SASEA needed to develop a culture of a high performing organization and you manage core HR policies and processes such as Talent & Succession Management, Performance Management, Compensation & benefits, Diversity & Inclusion and Resourcing.

Acting as a change agent within the area of responsibility, supporting managers in driving change by offering expertise and tools.
Sourcing and facilitating the provision of services from other parts of HR.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills within a matrix organization.
Ensuring that the health and wellbeing activities are followed through.
Communicating HR activities and process updates to managers and employees.
Liaising with Region/Country HR Managers to support alignment and create synergies within the organization.
As member of the SASEA Management team and Sandvik Coromant’s Sales and Marketing HR Management team, you take an active part in setting the strategic direction, execute the strategy and secure to drive overall company benefits and efficiencies by cross functional collaboration. You report to the Head of HR for Sales and Marketing at Sandvik Coromant and have a dotted line to the General Manager Sales Area South & East Asia.
The location for this position is preferably in Singapore, and international travel is required.
Your character – a business focused HR professional with great social skills.
You have a relevant university degree, or equivalent work experience. Add to that a minimum of five to ten years of experience working in an HR profession with several different processes in a global matrix organization, containing various stakeholders. You have knowledge from implementing HR activities while industry experience is a plus. You need to be fluent in English, verbally and in writing.
