Operational Excellence Specialist

The Dormer Pramet finance team is hiring an Operational Excellence Specialist to support globally with best in class business case reporting and analysis for investments, divestments and other restructuring activities.

Your Mission:

In this role you will work closely with functional managers, project managers and business and financial controllers to create business cases and analyze investments, divestments, and other business restructure activities. You may also be assigned to ad-hoc investigations and detailed analyses in adjacent areas.


  • Take part in and support in investment projects, ensuring that the appropriate business considerations have been covered.

  • Ensure correct documentation of investments, divestments and other change initiatives and business cases.

  • Support the entities with documentation related to investments, divestments restructuring, etc.

  • Ensure projects are archived in line with Sandvik Policies and easily accessible for Dormer Pramet Management

  • Train key users such as business line managers, finance personnel, change and project managers etc in templates to use and considerations / ways of working of major initiatives

  • Communicates any changes to and new templates from Sandvik to the Dormer Pramet organization.

Your Profile:

We believe you are at ease working in a global organization (which

requires fluent English) with stakeholders from diverse functional as well as geographical and cultural areas. You are comfortable in a matrix setup, where colleagues often have dotted lines, but work well together and pull in the same direction. Being a team player is also an important skill in succeeding in this role.

Required Competencies

  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.

  • Self-propelling with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads to meet strict deadlines

  • Change management and implementation ability

  • Business Acumen in areas of investment processes and requirements, financial accounting, handling of investments according to IFRS, and other frameworks

  • Communication to all levels of the organization in written, verbal, and presentation form

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2-5 years’ experience in a similar position

  • University Finance or Business administration related area of disciplines

  • Speak, read, and write English fluently

  • Ability to travel domestically and overseas to attend training, meetings, conferences
