Business Controller

The main purpose of the position is to contribute to reach the overall operational and financial goals for the Solid Round Tools Business Unit and the company Yongpu in particular. Through fulfilling all the main responsibilities, this role will support the execution of key activities and ensuring the performance according to expectation.

To provide support to the CFO, management team and other stakeholders, including upskilling the Finance function particularly from local to global mindset. To implement and improve financial processes according to Sandvik standard and expectations. To ensure within the business operations area that the production unit is operating as efficiently and effectively as possible and making best use of resources by implementing and analyzing financial kpis and follow up on progress and improvement. To improve forecasting and planning of the financial development of the company and work on mitigating actions in case of deviations.

Support the merger and acquisition process with due diligence projects as and when required by being the Finance lead/voice.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Period end Reports & analysis
- Comment on period performance, perform recurring analysis & present findings
Business Partnering
- Contribute with financial plans and analysis together with the organization. Build strong relationships and network with key stakeholders both locally at the company of Yongpu as well towards the head office of the Business unit Solid Round Tools.
Perform analysis & monitoring
- Continuously monitor performance and provide proactive ad-hoc analysis of current issues
Provide recommendations & drive decision making
-Financial perspective on operational issues. Support key business decision with fact-based analysis and simulation
Drive performance management
- Structured way of identifying improvement potential, agree upon activities and follow-up result
Strategic Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
- Business planning activities with different horizons
Contribute to Business control community
- Contribute to networks in Business control by sharing knowledge & good practices and support competence development

MAIN REQUIREMNTS
-Very high integrity and self-motivation with ability to perform independently under pressure
-Knowledge and skills in finance, pricing and profitability management
-Business sense must be well developed
-Work closely with relevant stakeholders across the organization in order to proactively identify opportunities and threats and based on these develop and implement fit-for-purpose actionable -and anchored actions
-Ability to handle a high workload and a flexible work and travel schedule
