Job Description

The Regional Territory Manager (RTM) is responsible for sales, customer support, and sales support within a sales territory. The RTM’s primary responsibility is ensuring the regional sales team maximizes its opportunities to build relationships with customers and sell new prospects. The Regional Territory Manager must combine an independent sales acumen with a desire to work as a team to exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Build and drive own sales pipeline, meeting goal in team selling environment.
  • Builds relationships with customers in territory with quarterly phone conversations.
  • Sells add-on software to customers over the phone, via online demos, and in person.
  • Renews and adds software subscription membership among current customers.
  • Maintains CRM system for sales, leads, opportunity forecasts, and customer activity.
  • Calls and qualifies incoming leads.
  • Supports Regional Sales Manager throughout the sales process:
    • Product demonstrations
    • Benchmarks
    • Site visits
  • Responsible for customer care for all customers within territory.
  • Participates in local and national Trade Shows.
  • Develops reference customers and works cooperatively with other territory sales teams.

Required

  • 2+ years in a business-to-business sales role.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team.
  • Results oriented mindset and positive attitude.
  • Capable of working independently and meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Technically savvy, with experience using proprietary software and/or CRM systems.
  • Overnight travel within territory is approximately 25%.

Preferred

  • Experience in sales to manufacturers, preferably fabricators.
  • SigmaNEST, SolidWorks or other CAD/CAM system experience.
  • College degree.

Additional

  • SigmaTEK will provide computer, software, phone, and other materials necessary for the successful completion of assigned duties.
